NOTICE OF ELECTIONS
Elections for two Trustee positions with Tamatea Pōkai Whenua Trust (TPW) for the following marae are currently underway.
Voting closes 26 May 2026 at 12.00pm

ELECTIONS

Voting packs will be distributed, and voting opens, on 24 April 2026 by Election Services.

Voting closes at 12pm on 26 May 2026.

Formal notification of all results will be released as close as possible to 2 June 2026.

Voting packs containing candidate profiles will be distributed to members 18+ years who have selected one of the two (2) Marae as their Marae Electorate.

Voting packs will be issued by email to members with an email address recorded, and by post to members without an email address recorded.

ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE
Individuals must be Adult Registered Members of the Heretaunga Tamatea Register by the closing date for nominations.
Please note that if a registration application is submitted close to the nominations closing date, there may be insufficient time for the application to be processed and validated before voting eligibility is determined.
Current members should also ensure their registration details are up to date before such time.
